Most of my sessions take place outdoors in a natural setting, placing the spotlight firmly on you and your beautiful family. I can recommend the perfect spot for you, but I’m also always up for an adventure (and some much-needed alone time in the car is always welcome!), so feel free to propose a place that is special to you as well. I can’t wait to chat with you about capturing the beauty in YOUR family.
I’m an educator by day, mom by night, and photographer in the moments in-between. As a mom to two, I appreciate and embrace chaos, and I think the moments in between the "perfect poses" are often the most beautiful. From the big cheeses to those spontaneous moments of family joy, I love, love, love to capture it all in gorgeous natural light.

When I tell people that I work with high school students, they often say some version of "yikes!" But truly, my "kids" are some of the best humans you'll meet, and they give me hope for a brighter future.

I am a proud mama to Walt, a ten-year-old soccer-obsessed dude, and June, my eight-going-on-eighteen girl. They are both smart and kind and genuine handfuls. I owe this entire biz of mine to them...after all, they were the ones who were so sick of my camera in their faces all day to begin with.

I have next to no knowledge of pop culture from the past decade (thanks to motherhood, I CAN however tell you all about Power Rangers Dino Charge or sing the entire soundtrack to both Frozen films). But the 90s and early 00s? That's another matter. I love to relive the music and movies of my youth (the fashions, though, can stay in the past). Now who's up for watching The Cutting Edge?

I love a fancy meal as much as the next guy (okay, probably more than the next guy). And I LOVE to cook meals for my family. But if left to my own devices, I would probably skip the big dinners and just snack on junk all day long. Give me a roll of Toll House cookie dough and something salty, and I'm a happy woman.

I want to capture authentic moments of you loving on and interacting with your family. I come in with lots of ideas and make sure to capture a few key poses, but largely the session unfolds as I watch your family do its thing. That means that every gallery is a little bit different. There are a few things I make sure to get every time: one of everyone looking and smiling right at the camera, some of just the kiddos with each parent, and some of just the littles. The rest though is up to each family and their own brand of magic.
